Time is a tool for measuring.

Time is a tool for measuring. We use the solar system on which to base the twelve-month calendar, weeks, days, minutes, seconds, etc. Our solar system timing is the planetary system in relation to the sun.

Space seems to be infinite.

Space may not be the proper word since there could be a lot of things besides space. If space (or space and matter) continues infinitely, then distance and time are relative measuring tools and are not fixed concepts.

Life span is a measurement.

All matter and space can be divided (maybe not properly) into living or not living. It seems that matter must be organized into a biological system to be called life.

The measure of life itself then is considered a biological system.

Certain chemical reactions take place to form a biological system.

Apparently thought can arise in many biological systems.

Thought in these systems use sensors such as nerves etc. to “see” or to be aware of “self” and “other”.

Self is relative to other in time or space and each other sensed adds another “other” sensed in some bio systems. A type of memory starts to form based on sense objects.

This type of life might be considered “intelligent” since it is able to sustain itself by memory or (learning).

The biological system though it sees itself as “self” and “other”. It is really only self  “RELATIVE” to other.

This may be an important point!

What we call life may not arise from a sense of self and other, but instead exists inherently!

I think this possibly because the very matter (and space) from which life is formed has FORMED LIFE!

I am sure that it is popular to think that by a random event chemicals formed and created the first biological systems.

I am equally as sure that it is popular to think that another event occurred e.g. God etc. to create life.

Either way, each action caused another action, which was a cause for life. Since time is a measuring tool, there was never a single event that created life. It could have been a single moment (measured in time) but not in and of itself a single or “first” cause.

A “first” cause would be a beginning before existence.

I think it could be said that all of existence is life, NOT just biological systems.

The random event idea doesn’t matter because life formed!

If life didn’t form then the random event STILL wouldn’t matter.

Life DID form!

The “alleged” random event DID NOT take place at a certain point in time, because time is only a measuring tool and not an inherent existence.

Life DOES seem to be dependent on self and other, whether time is measured or not.

Biological life depends on the constant interaction of matter for it to even exist.

Does this mean that thoughts are only a result of biological processes?

It seems to me that thought does not rely on time the measuring tool.

Thoughts must be as dependent on other factors just as matter is.

Thoughts can be affected by others thoughts.

Thoughts may be sensed, not only by the self, but also by others.

It seems as if each atom affects other atom then the thought that arises from them may also affect other thoughts.

Summed up: It seems to me that all life has always inherently existed. (Life in the sense that each action is caused by other actions without beginning).

Our day to day worries are based on time and not on a permanent existence.

There is no such thing as a permanent existence.

“Others” cannot be based on a permanent existence.

“Self” cannot be based on a permanent existence.

Others and self is an interaction and not an independent existence.

Nothing comes out of nowhere.

Freedom is the nature of our existence.

Bondage is the delusion of an independent mind.

Life is a measuring tool.

Life span is also a measurement.

Just like time and space.

Life is like a double edge sword, or even a two sided coin. Just like freedom. Maybe you could say that life IS freedom.

So if life is a tool, what is using the tool?

Is it thought?

Thought may also be a measurement, of no-thought.

So is EVERYTHING two-sided?
