Computer Magic
I baby sat computers today, they really needed watching.
Without my help they would have sat and did not much of nothing.
As it was they churned and groaned, and made their high pitched squeals.
The fun I get from com-pu-ters is only half the deal.
The better part is I pretend to be a famous poet.
Or even a great physicist, with knowledge that I know it.
A computer programmer I could be, my software tells me so.
It’s easy so they say it is, “keep drinking lots of JO”.
An Illustrator I will be, I’ll wheel and deal in drawings.
Marquees, lassos, paintfill buckets, their windows I’ll be scrolling.
A Photographer too! I know how! I’ll picture every class!
Import their prints to Fotoshop and polish them like glass!
I’ll draw this piece, enlarge that print, and find a better angle.
Hang that part up on a string, and shoot it while it dangles.
The best part of this job it seems is really not too tragic.
I love exploring high tech toys, cause with them I make magic.
