Elusive

The unknown can cause fear.

The unknown is not known.

The known can cause fear.

The known is elusive.

How is it that I can fear what is elusive and not known?

Anger and Hatred are born of fear.

Is self preservation born of fear?

What self am I protecting?

Is protecting others born of fear?

Are others separate from myself?

No one exists independently.

How is it that I can fear what is elusive and not known?

Actions happen in the present.

Are actions based on expected outcomes born of fear?

Actions need not be born of fear.

Actions without expected outcomes are still actions.

Why would we act without expected outcomes?

Results of action (results being future tense) cannot be known in the present.

Actions based on intent are the key.

Good intentions like compassion, loving kindness, and generosity are driven by LOVE, not fear!

“First do no harm”,  (part of the hippocratic oath) comes to mind.

Fear is the opposite of LOVE!!!!
