Love

It makes sense to me that one would have to love themselves before they could be capable of loving others, this love coming “first” from God our creator/creation.
When I say “first” I am meaning that as a convenient way of understanding our selves as separate beings. I believe we are both separate beings and one being at the same time. I don’t believe anything exists in a vacuum of separateness all things being interdependent and interrelated. I believe our souls were with God from the beginning and indeed are God or if you like a part of God.
I believe when we love someone else we are loving God.
So to say that you have to love yourself first makes perfect sense in this world of apparent separateness.
I think it important for every soul to realize our interconnectedness in order to truly love the way God/Creator/Creation loves.
