I LIKE static

AM radio, near electricity. Creates a static storm made especially for me.
I grew up in static of fifty thousand watts. CKLW great as AM ever got.
That Motown static sound back in the early days. Was full of the Temptations and the likes of Isaac Hayes.
FM blundered in from tiny little stations. Rock filling the airwaves sent AM on vacation.
Internet brought music into unlikely places. Sterilizing music and it’s many faces.
AM breathes every kind of music and big talk. The static let’s me know it’s alive as I go walk.
