Life’s been good to me so far (to the tune of Joe Walsh “Life’s been good”)
I have a trailer I’m paying the price.
I only sleep there, on every work night.
I live in the country, inside these four walls.
I work everyday just to pay for it all.
They say I’m crazy but I’m losing my mind.
The grass is fast growing I’m so far behind.
Life’s been good to me so far.
My little Yaris will go eighty-five.
Gas so expensive I can’t hardly drive.
I have a shed and a dog there out back.
She barks real often in case I’m attacked.
I’m writing nonsense, my Facebook friends hate.
They give me thumbs up, tell me I’m great.
So I got me an job, “mechanic and all”.
If I’m not really tired, maybe I’ll call.
I’m not really sane after all I’ve been through.
I can’t complain but sometimes I still do.
Life’s been good to me so far.
I go to work sometime after four.
It’s hard to leave when you can’t find the door.
It’s tough to handle my boss what a pain.
Everybody’s so different, I haven’t changed.
They say I’m lazy but it takes all my time.
I keep on goin’ guess I’ll never know why.
Life’s been good to me so far.
