Happy Columbus Day!

Happy Columbus day, it really is grand!
That ole Christopher stumbled, onto this land.
It wasn’t India, but Indians he named.
Not to their liking, and not much has changed.
Let us keep working, let everyone see.
The land that some died for, the land they made free.
A strong sense of purpose, a real sense of pride.
Hope for the future, and great way to reside.
This country of ours, is a huge melting pot.
People from all over this world that we’ve got.
Make for a great nation, let’s make no mistake!
As long as they give, back more than they take.

P.S. And the good Lord knows the settlers took more than they deserved. Let not history repeat itself.
