Expecting results

The only reason we know anything is because we were born and raised by someone. We are taught by our peers, family, strangers, the media, etc.
We never know in advance what the result of our words/actions will be, and once we know the results, the results are already affecting other people.
The outcome of our words/actions are never completely known unless time ends for all of life that is affected, and even then we might not know.
Actions and words are constantly being used and knowing there are consequences should encourage their careful use.
Letting go of the idea that we alone achieve such results is the way to produce more positive results, and also is the way to encourage further positive action.
For example; if I contribute what I think to be the most positive action and I think that I should get credit, a reward, or even a desired result and it doesn’t work out that way, not only could I get discouraged, but it could also affect others in a way that wasn’t intended.
Unconditional love is giving with no conditions or attachment to results.
So can a human being ever reach the ideal of unconditional love, or no attachment to results?
If we think that we can, than we are attaching ourselves to the idea that we can love unconditionally and can live a life of no-self without an ego.
I believe that it is not within our control or power to achieve this. I think that we are not to worry about it.
We are part of a much larger universe than ourselves and that universe is the reason that we are here and able to do anything.
People have many different names for it and many religions for it, but the results are never a result of our deeds alone.
That’s not to say that we cannot do any wrong. What it means is that any wrong that we do has far reaching effects as well as any good that we do.
We cannot realistically expect the universe will react a certain way forever to our deeds, good or bad.
Also, I will try not to attach to the idea that there are certain words that I know to describe what I am calling the universe. I am only using words that I have learned to try to communicate an idea.
Intentions are made up of actions and words and I am trying to not attach a concrete solid meaning to them though I cannot control if others do.
The “buck” definitely does not stop here!
Our job is to do. Other people and the universe, (God, Yahweh, Jehovah, Allah, Nirvana, etc.) will measure our results.
