Freedom!

In America a major problem is the fact that we don’t agree on all of our problems.
Or is it? The beauty of America is the fact that we CAN disagree.
Some want dogs tied up. Others want to be able to use the recreational drug of their choice. Most would say that the government spends our money foolishly.
Some think freedom means that we should be free to do anything we want.
Freedom to me means “maneuvering room”. We may not always get our way.
Our country has some huge issues that we seemingly can’t agree on.
If I write here that we actually HAVE agreed by voting, I am sure that some will say that they have been cheated, outnumbered, lied to, or even all of the above.
Some will even say that we have already LOST our freedom.
I have only to look at some other countries and history to believe that we have not lost it.
Some would say that we are ABOUT to lose it.
Sometimes it may be that our very best efforts seem like a failure. The minute you believe your efforts ARE a failure, THEN you have truly lost your freedom.
The great news, is that freedom always has and always will be IN OURSELVES!
History has proven many times over that even the best efforts to stifle and control people have never been entirely successful.
Many individuals in history have been imprisoned only to return to society stronger and even more determined than ever!
Never give up on yourself. Never give up on other people. Many millions of people have gone before us.
Freedom is not a static word. The word freedom implies something dynamic and indeed relies upon the energy of people.
Remember, energy is something that can neither be created or destroyed however it CAN be manipulated.
The energy and the direction that we put into our freedom is directly proportioned to the energy and direction that we get out of it.
