Gifts of God

I believe that all people are bestowed by God with gifts of talent which vary as widely as people themselves.
I also believe that if a person uses those gifts to the glory of God by letting God’s light shine through them and into other people they can help make people and the world a much better place.
A person that is very talented but instead of letting God’s light shine through them, like darkness they absorb the light and do not pass it on to others make less of a positive impact on the world and other people.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16 ESV
