Mirroring others

If we all could make a list of everything we believe, everything we don’t believe, everything we love, everything we hate, and everything in between, we might find we are woven from the same cloth and our lives are mirroring others not merely in one direction but in all directions.
What good is any of this? How could it improve even one life? What about the problems of war, hunger, hate, poverty?
Most of the time these widespread problems are caused by people. Individual people can and do work at solving these problems constantly. The idea of believing we are all woven from the same cloth, mirroring each other, or in the same boat might help some people believe it is valuable and indeed imperative to work vigilantly to solve these problems. At the very least it may help us to not contribute to these problems. A regular awareness of any problem is the first step toward fixing it. A regular awareness of the importance of fixing it is needed followed by action!
