Sick

Went to doctor yesterday was negative for strep.
Was told to gargle with some salt and buy some Mucinex.
The nurse called back today and asked me just how well I felt.
I told her that I felt much worse and might need some more help.
I’d been sick since Tuesday it seemed long, I was just asking.
She said this year’s strain seemed more severe and longer lasting.
I told her I would like to get a Z-Pak just in case.
She said no need it’s just a virus and I’d have to wait.
She also told me if I’m doing worse in a day or two.
Come on back and than they would say what I had to do.
It’s nice to get a call from them concerned about my suffering.
I drove there 30 miles plus my copay all for nothing.
I’m not complaining I’m just bored here with this nasty virus.
We spread it back and forth and it goes where it will among us.
The way to kill a virus and not let it spread around.
Is take me out and shoot me and just put me in the ground.
