Unselfish Analysis
To be happy, one does not have to be fully aware of the reason for it.
Also, one does not have to be fully aware of the reason for, sadness, anger, or any other emotion.
It is tempting to examine another persons action or speech and offer reasons as to why they ‘should’ feel differently.
It is easy to not fully examine or entirely ignore the reason for our own emotions.
Even when we more fully examine ourselves and others the filters of our own perception naturally bias our conclusions.
It is only by careful self examination and thoughtful communication with others that reasonable consensus can effectively improve the human condition.
There is an old sheet metal worker ‘saying’; “measure twice, cut once”.
If the analogy is not obvious, what I am trying to say is, carefully measure communication with others.
Make sure that the pattern we cut is not based on hasty emotions and unconscious perceptions but rather the well thought out consideration of desired results.
