Why mow?

My grass is growing mighty high, the neighbors getting shorter.
Got tons of yellow flowers and the purple ones are sorter,
purty don’t you know real nice, the white ones they are too.
Anyway it won’t be long till all of them are through.
I think I ought to put it off since mowing makes me sneeze.
A few more months and I won’t care cause all I’ll have are trees!
