Words and Sidewalks

Written words can be compared to sidewalks.
Words written on paper, and concrete poured for sidewalks are only of value when used.
Words and sidewalks may be considered a path or a destination.
Words and sidewalks may take different paths, lead to many destinations, and even get us lost.
They both may be used to relax or meander to no where in particular.
Their usefulness may be debatable.
They both may be taken for granted with little or no thought as to their construction.
They both may have very long or very short life spans.
Desires are a goal to achieve some sort of satisfaction.
Desires can be expressed in thoughts, words, paths, and actions.
Desires can achieve positive or negative results.
Desires, ideally, would always be positive, long lasting, far reaching, and satisfying.
All desires, like words and sidewalks, can be useful and enjoyed, their paths ever varying.
When one looks at a desired path as wealth or power, or even looks at heaven as being the final ultimate goal, desire, or destination, they are missing the point.
The true satisfaction, ‘love’ lies in the journey which is never ending*. (*without end, not static, no finality)
Heaven, while worded and described in many ways, languages, and religions, generally is spoken of as an almost indescribable utopia. If I am correctly interpreting its meaning, than an indescribable utopia must be a path ultimately without end, albeit lined with flowers instead of thorns.
It’s up to us to plant the flowers.
